Descent From Hell album
Hannover’s mighty Heavy Metal / Prog act The Ordeal unleash their second album "Descent From Hell" on 29 October 2012 through the Dust On the Tracks label. Featuring eleven stunning tracks, including their awesome cover version of Peter Gabriel’s ‘Here Comes The Flood’, The Ordeal’s vintage Metal influences shine through. "Descent From Hell" was mastered by Michael Wagener [Queen, Accept, Ozzy Osbourne, Great White) in his "WireWorld" Studios in Nashville. Underscored by burning guitar riffs and virtuoso solos laid over a pounding rhythm section, "Descent From Hell" features superb lyrics and an intoxicating atmosphere that more than lives up to the early promise shown on their debut "Kings Of Pain".

Having already been invited to perform in China at the Guangzhou 430 Festival and at Beijing’s Midi festival earlier this year, The Ordeal are now delighted to announce an October tour with label mates Knock Out Kaine. The tour visits Germany, Spain and Belgium before reaching the UK and Eire.

A perfect blend of classic rock and mystical imagery, musically the whole band is flawless on "Descent From Hell". Ranging from the ballads (‘Dragon Tears’) to the quite simply blistering (‘Black Rain’) this is a strong collection from a band that has truly found its sound. Don’t miss them on tour in October!
